The Band
Chris on Krutches (or COK for short) was formed on December 31, 1999, in Katie's basement. The members were talking about Katie's brother's friend who was on crutches at the time, when all of a sudden- *light bulb* Marissa had an idea! "Lets start a band called Chris on Krutches!!!" So they talked and discussed and came up with this- Katie and Kathleen on lead vocals, Marissa on guitar, and Erin would be the well, the umm... Well she didn't really want to do any work, so she became the first groupie/roadie/go-go dancer. The girls then got to talking and they realized they had no drumer or bassist. Although Marissa played precussion in her school's band and knew how to play the bass, she couldn't cover both those AND the guitar at the same time. Then all of a sudden- *light bulb* Kathleen (of all people) had an idea!! She just happened to have a cousin Brian who played the drums and was in a band. So they all figured that 'B' would surely quit his band, join theirs, and in the process convince his original band's bassist to join COK along with him. Well since as of now no one actually know's the bassist's name... he will be reffered to as 'Scooby' until we learn his name. Anyway so that's the basic history of COK. They are currently writing songs and hope to someday, with the help of Marissa's guitar teacher, get a real actual gig somewhere!! Check back though, because with each day something new could happen and totally change everything about Chris on Krutches...

Bios
Katie- Katie is a homeless Cuban princess with Puerto Rican hair who happens to be one of COK's lead singers. Eventhough COK was founded in her basement and shes homeless, the basement was the sewer under her cardboard box. Born and raised in Miami, she now wanders the streets of Oak Hill, Virginia. Her punk music background has greatly inspired the band and shaped their style of music...
Kathleen- Kathleen is a cutie-patootie who likes boy bands and all the bad evil music like that. But, she has a good voice so the band let her stay as a lead singer. She too lives in Oak Hill, Virginia, but unlike Katie has a home and a cute puppy named Champ, although many people call him Sparky because that's what his name SHOULD'VE been!!
Marissa- Marissa is by far the coolest member of COK. She's been playing the guitar for about 2 and 1/2 years and is now learning to play the bass. Her other musical experience also includes playing the piano, flute, french horn, and keyboards/precussion.
Erin- Erin is a dork who doesn't do anything and won't go out with Marissa because she's going out with Pat who's a loser too! (j/k, well Pat's a loser, but Marissa doesn't like Erin like that... eeeeew!) Anyway, she's the groupie/roadie/go-go dancer that was inspired by Jennifer Lopez to shake her ass around.
Brian- Brian is Kathleen's cousin who plays the drums and lives in Maryland. That is all we know about him.
Scooby- Scooby is the bassist. We don't know his name. All we know his that he is friends with 'B'.
